The Band at Your End of the World Party
The Holy Nothing mixes stoner rock swagger, post-hardcore crunch, and widescreen atmospherics in a sound that will make you shake your ass AND bang your head. Joey Kaufman (guitar and vocals), Dan Kinnaley (bass and vocals), and Austin Hammond (drums) formed the band in 2022 talking as much about the vibes of their favorite horror movies as their favorite bands. These influences are apparent on their first EP “Vol 1: A Profound and Nameless Fear” which received positive nods from publications like The Obelisk and Distorted Sound Magazine, and Weedian.
Since 2022, The Holy Nothing have honed their live show into a well-oiled machine sharing stages with He Is Legend, Greyhaven, Body Void, ’68, Kal Marks, and more. With a steady stream of live performances and work on “Vol 2” underway, the future looks bright for The Holy Nothing even as the void consumes everything around them.
Press
“…those who enjoy their music dirty, swaggering and volatile will find plenty to love with THE HOLY NOTHING‘s debut offering.” – Distorted Sound
“…Indiana trio The Holy Nothing make their presence felt with Vol. 1: A Profound and Nameless Fear, a five-song/17-minute EP that’s weighted and barking in its onslaught and pivots almost frenetically from part to part, but that nonetheless has an overarching groove that’s pure Sabbath boogie in centerpiece Unending Death…” – The Obelisk
“…The Song (Bathe Me) is all filth and good vibes…” – Weedian
